Hey y'all, Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell here. So I just finished working out and having my first meal of the day and I was thinking about something. You know how sometimes we catch ourselves getting all twisted up because we think we have been left out of something?
A party, a get-together or whatever and the invitation comes late. I gotta tell you, I don't get mad at that stuff and let me tell you why and I think that once you hear my explanation, you'll be on my side on this.
Do you know how many times I walk out of the house and forget to grab my keys? Like I literally get in my car and I hit the button and I can't understand why it's not turning on. Well, what if we applied that same level of grace that we give ourselves for the times we're running and rushing to other people when they supposedly overlook overlook us, leave us out.
What if we said they might have been in a rush and then when they reviewed their list, they realized they left you out and they said, oh my goodness, I need to course correct. And then they sent it to you. Try applying that level of grace and understanding in your situations and I think you'll have a happier life. No, I know that you will have a life full of peace, joy and fulfillment. How about that?
